Lace Interiors is closing its doors

Come and grab a great bargain at Lace Interiors this month, which is closing its doors in nearby Essendon after four decades.

Founder of Lace Interiors Chris Tolevski takes great pride in his journey since immigrating to Australia from Europe at the age of 19 with just a suitcase.

Through relentless hard work and a steadfast determination to succeed, he has achieved his goals and finds contentment in his current position.

Originally starting out as a tailor, his quest for vibrancy and creativity led him into the realm of interior design.

In 1984, together with his wife Anne, Chris initially established Lace Interiors on Tilba St in Essendon. After four years, they relocated just around the corner to Buckley St, where they have faithfully served their Melbourne clientele ever since.

Their portfolio includes a variety of prestigious projects across Melbourne, from the heritage-listed Ravenswood in Ivanhoe to the elegant Selveta in Parkville, Montclaire Aged Care in Brighton and many more.

After four decades of dedicated service, Lace Interiors will be closing its Essendon showroom. As one of the longest-standing businesses in the Essendon shopping district, they will be bidding farewell by the end of July.

Chris and Anne extend their heartfelt gratitude to all their supporters and friends they have made over the years. To commemorate this chapter, there will be a Closing Down Sale starting on July 5, offering final opportunities to acquire exceptional bargains.

Looking ahead, Chris and Anne eagerly anticipate spending more time with their grandchildren as they transition into a new phase of life.

Despite closing the showroom, Lace Interiors will continue to serve their existing clients remotely from home. They can be reached via email at [email protected] or by phone at 9337 5120.

This marks a new era for Chris and Anne, filled with appreciation for their journey and excitement for the future. •
